Marked activity these last three days.
I'm not here since many times, but imho, this situation is very strange. So silent.
I saw him on AU1215, a very easy problem, with few submissions, his solution seems to have different memory usage than the ones with similar execution time.
But so many suspicions were shown...
hello admin...plz check how dis person is submitting 58 ques in a span of 3 hours...further the name used within as his name is also is rubbish...plz ban such type of users its all in your hand...
User allada aka Revanth submitted solutions for Bytecode 2012 contest problems in quick succession. (Submissions 6611507 to 6611545.) The questions are mostly on the difficult side..
I just point it out as suspicious so that the problem setter (or an admin) can, if they want, look into it and see if submissions match official solutions or some other form of cheating. The user had some trouble with much easier problems (such as PRIME1), based on profile and recent submissions. He also submitted several NWERC 2011 solutions right afterward in the same fashion. So a number of factors make it look strange.
In the end though, I feel like even pointing out such things is maybe a waste of time. Could be spending the time solving problems or other interesting things. People wanting to cheat will always exist, and they won't gain very much from cheating, and the points/ranking dilution is generally not very extreme anyway..
I notice that this14 user (ancient rank #3) is no longer present in the list "all of fame".
Now Lordxfastx and : D are #3 and #4.
I don't know since how many time it is done, but it seems a good decision.
Removing from rank list is an option that every user can chose for his account.
And: Nevertheless as long as his account is still valid, he reduces points of other users.
Moreover user arena9 is going on submitting others' solutions:
His AC submission for my own problemset LINQSOLV4 is identical to the (older) AC submission of user atetubou12.
On one of my problems, 'REBOUND' : The return of the cake
snehasish_roy (alias : Better late than never !!!)
submitted some submissions, and 2min later,
i_am_back1 (alias : Guess_who_is_back)
had submitted the same.
It's motto is : It looks really nice to see no WA's in ur status
Edit : This problem1 is proposed, but the setter didn't solve FACT0 nor other good factoring problem ! I find this more than curious, and non sense in fact.
I have a new copy/paste for REBOUND, from http://www.spoj.pl/users/aradhya71/2 ; it's python submission is a pure copy of http://www.spoj.pl/users/jhanvi/3 one.
i hv 3 id's on spoj- snehasish_roy and " " and " "
My original id was a way too messy so i made a new id " "
in order to combine all the questions i again made a new id " "
Cant i run multiple id's on SPOJ??
There is no rule which says I can't do so !!
Is it equivalent to serious crime called cheating..???
Also, do problem setters must solve problems of the same type which they are posting before they post their question??
I don't think there is any rule of that kind ??
I do have two account,I don't think so it is wrong you can make any number of account. This a coding site and everyone wants to make its profile better with less number of wa's and anyone should have any problems if any one makes more than one account.Anyone can also use his second account to debugg and help the coders who paste their problems here(on forum). So,I don't think there will be any problems if any one carries more than one account.
You should have one account only. If you have multiple accounts you steal the points from other people. The second account doesnt make your profile any better, in fact it scores less points than your first account with all the WA.
Ideally, as you get better you would get less WA and TLE because you would be thinking more before submitting code.
My account has many RTE, TLE, and WA. It doesn't affect me. I submit many quick solutions from my iPhone while solving solutions from forum posts, which attributes to many wrong results but my solutions when I plan are much better.
Cheers,
Leppy
The genius9 of the day !!!
