Would it be possible to upgrade the Erlang installation? The installed
R12B-3 is 2.5 years old and has a bug that makes reading from STDIN an
order of magnitude slower than in R12B-5 and later. (Making it
unusable for some problems with large input.)
The current R14B release would do nicely.
