Hi,
I believe this was suggested elsewhere, in a slightly different way, but I am posting this for your evaluation.
I think there are as many experience coders as beginners in Spoj, and it would be awsome if we beginners could see some of the solutions and programming techniques used by other experience coders.
I understand that making solutions available would ruin the scores, but I believe there is a fair way of doing it:
1. Regularly add problems in a different section and allow only submissions for a limited period of time (1 month, 1 week, it doesn't really matter)
2. Everyone would know from the beginning that his/her solution will be made available once the limited period of time expires, so only those who want will submit a solution.
3. Count points for those who submitted in the valid time, and then publish the solutions of all submissions for everyone to study and analyse.
4. Once the valid period expires you can still accept submissions but they will not affect your score.
I believe this would be a great way of letting beginners learn from experienced programmers.
