IIT, Delhi will be hosting the ACM-ICPC North India Multi Provincial Round this October as a part of our Golden Jubilee celebrations.
ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is the most highly acclaimed of all the coding competitions in the world, and IIT Delhi is considered amongst the foremost Technological Universities in the world. As such it is natural for our ACM Student Chapter to organise the event in our gambit after being recognised as one of the best in the world (acm.org/chapters/students/essay-contest). As we are targetting top colleges from India, this contest will provide a great oppurtunity to get real time practice for the Regional round to be held in December this year.
The contest is going to be held in 2 stages:
(1) Online round: 2nd October 2010
(2) On-site round (for qualifying teams): 14-15th October 2010
Attractive prizes for teams finishing in the top three:
1) Winners: Rs. 10,000
2) First Runners up: Rs. 7,500
3) Second Runners up: Rs. 5,000
