An alternate approach would be providing editorials for the problems. If we have the facility to write editorials for the problems which we have solved and coders can see the editorial only after solving the problem. This may not help us in solving the problem but still we can see how others have approached for the problem. I think many people would be interested in writing the editorials. I for one, i am interested in writing. But this thing can be a burden on the site. This will really be a nice feature to have in this site. Coders can learn many new things and also be true to their efforts.

Just like the USACO training pages. I think that would be brilliant. You don't even need to have some special admin or whoever to write up editorials - you could allow everybody to submit their approach, and just have someone looking over the latest updates to make sure nobody is posting spam or something like that.
In fact, a wiki would be ideal. How easy would it be to add a wiki such that you can only see a particular page if you've solved it?

Yeah, like the USACO gateway. A wiki like system would be a real slick. But admins have to tell how easy/hard to come up with this system.

I must say I like the idea! smile
However, it's not an so easy to code this. So I can't say when.
(There has also been an old idea of an integrated forum, where users could post comments to problems etc. Also would be nice...)
