Too bad this was removed... I have already been thinking about the fastest ways to read files, unrolling loops, bit tricks and other nasty (but kind of fun) optimizations.

Given three weeks, I think many people will be able to solve all the problems if they really want to. So the real fight are going to be the challenge problems.

OK, so what we can do is this: once in a while (but not very often ) there may be a challenge problem with a judge that gives points for some funny things, like shortest runtime, shortest source code, weirdest source code (according to some criterion), etc. I think I will add a few problems of this sort to SPOJ, and if they catch on, they may appear in the league.

I take that back - the problems are a little more difficult than I expected.
