Prime Number generation problem

Hello all,
i m new to this wonderful community !!
I tried the prime number generation problem and checked it for worst cases of 999900000 and 1000000000 , and my prog outputs the result pretty fast !! but still on submission i gett exceeded time limit of 6s , kindly help
