I seem to be producing the correct output:-

team 3: 0, 0
0 0 0 4 5 6

team 5: 1, 777

Maybe my problem is related to end of input.

I'm afraid you used a version > 2.5 to develop your code. If you remove the exception handling and run with Python-2.5 you will get one as you tried to use count for tuples which is not supported in 2.5.

Apart from that the code is OK and you will get AC. Dont forget to remove the code from the forum.
